Best Shoes for the Job:
Kerckhaert Syntra
The primary difference in the Syntra design is the aluminum at the toe, coming nearly to the top of the grab, which minimizes the “snow plow” effect of the regular toe grab. This is a more comfortable shoe for dirt as well as any synthetic track that allows regular toe grabs behind. The design behind the grab is the same as normal race plates, allowing all the traction possible coming out of the gate and during the propulsion stage of the first 100 yards in a race.
