FootPro C11 and C13 Solid Carbide Studs C11 (left) C13 (right). Both require a 17-64″ drill bit. 
17/64″ Drill Bit and Drill Press. 
Always wear safety glasses when installing Carbide Studs.
Center Punch desired location for studs before drilling. 
This mark will help with drilling in the desired location. 
17/64″ Drill Bit or Countersink Bit, used on drill press to get a precise hole. 
Using a Brass or Annealed Steel Hammer, start your C13 stud in hole. 
Seat C13 stud to desired height. If working with shoes thinner than 5/16″, be careful not to bottom out, as it may damage the stud or cause the stud to work loose over time.

Do not drive the stud until the head makes contact with the shoe. Leave a small gap to avoid stud damage, or premature loosening.

Annealed steel and brass hammers will mark each time a stud is applied. This is normal. You will need to grind the face of the hammer back from time to time.
